Submit Your Story
If you wish to submit your story to MFPS, read the material below and follow the directions at the bottom of the page.
Who’s Eligible?
Basically, anyone who’s involved in adult work involving sex to any degree. If you have sex for a living, then you’re included. If you provide someone else with sexual release (i.e., through phone sex), then you’re included. If you provide sexual fantasy (dancers, fetish work), then you’re eligible as well. Specific examples include:
- Strippers
- Escorts and Prostitutes
- Adult Movie Stars (including amateurs, so long as you charge for access)
- Webcam and Phone Sex operators
- Massage Artists who provide “happy endings”
- Professional Doms/Dommes, Professional Subs
- Fetish Workers
Gender is irrelevant, as is sexual orientation. This does not include adult models, agents, directors, agency owners, etc., unless you actually engage in sex work as a part of your job. If you have a question about whether your work qualifies or not, contact me using the Contact Me form.
Ownership of the Material
Anything you submit for inclusion on the site remains your intellectual property, and I will not exert any claim of copyright or ownership of it. You’re free to republish it anywhere else or ask me to remove it at any point.
Does it matter if the experiences were positive or not?
No. Not everyone has positive experiences as sex workers. Your experience is valid regardless of whether it was positive or negative, and I’ll post anything submitted. If I have questions about the veracity of your submission, I may ask you to provide some form of substantiation that you actually were engaged in qualifying work.
What do I need to do?
Copy the questions below, write out your answers and send them to me. You should also send me a link to any web site you want me to include in your entry (multiple sites are fine), as well as a photo or two to use in the post. I’d prefer head shots or something that isn’t “porny” if possible. If you don’t want a photo of yourself included with the entry just say so. I’ll include a generic image if one is appropriate. I’ll also include your Twitter link if you have one.
I’ll post the stories as they come in. If several come in at once, I’ll space them out, and let you know when yours is up.
Do I have to provide a name or can I remain anonymous?
I’d prefer that you allow us to use your professional or work name – the name you performed under or your clients knew you by. This attaches some identity to the story and allows the reader to gain a sense of empathy with the writer. However, if you insist on remaining anonymous, I’ll allow you to do so as long as I can be assured the story is legitimate. Anything you submit to me that you request I hold in confidence will remain strictly confidential.
Questions
Copy these into an e-mail or Word document, answer them, and send them to me at alexa(dot)therealprincess(at)gmail(dot)com. All of the required questions are marked with asterisks (*). I’d like for you to answer all of the questions, but if you don’t feel comfortable answering the non-required questions, feel free to leave them out. The more you elaborate with your answers, the more readers will get out of it, so there is no word limit on these.
- What is(was) your professional/stage/working name? *
- What do you call yourself. Or, how do you wish your work label to be listed? (Escort, Prostitute, Stripper, Dancer, Sex Worker, etc.)?*
- What city(ies) do you work in now (if you’re still working), or did you work in (if no longer working in the sex industry)?
- How old are you now? *
- At what age did you engage in your first professional sexual experience? *
- Describe your first professional sexual experience, including what happened, how you felt, what you were thinking, how you felt afterward. *
- At what age did you entertain the first (serious) thoughts of going into sex work?
- What made you decide to enter the line of work you’re in? Be as specific as possible. *
- What do you enjoy most about your work? *
- What do you like the least about your work? *
- Does your family know what you do? If so, what do they think?
- Do you have a spouse, partner or significant other, and if so, do they know about what you do? If so, what do they think?
- How much longer do you think you’ll do what you’re doing now, and what are your plans for when you quit? If you’ve already left, what made you decide to leave and what did you decide to do for work when you left?
- Describe your educational background. You don’t need to be specific in terms of colleges or specific degrees, but if you have been to a post-secondary school, it would be nice for readers to hear about it, what kind of stuff you studied, etc.
- If you had to go back and tell your younger self (mid to late teens) that you’d be doing what you’re doing now (assuming you’re still working in the sex industry), what do you think your younger self would say about it?
- What advice would you give someone who was looking to get into your line of sex work?
Feel free to add any additional information you want people to know about you, your work, how you felt about it, etc. If you include anything that might present a problem, I’ll contact you and we’ll work it out before I put your story online.
Thanks for wanting to include your story and for helping others understand that sex workers are human beings just like everyone else.
